Day 15 - VOPs & Houdini Shaders

well today we went to the office as normal. Ms. Eda made noise that were coming in late.... but the office do not really mind what time we come in. And officially we only need to come in for a 3 day work week. But nevermind.

Continued with more tests today, and with help from joyce and advice from ben i started working on my models and folds for my paper aeroplane.

At 8pm today, we just had an informal class by ben on vops and shading. He talked about how to do shaders in houdini. There were a couple of his friends in the office as well from digital domain, who wanted to know about it. The lesson was quite indept as it talked about using caustics from water once again and shaders for materials, as houdini changed to houdini 11, the way shaders are done has changed. now houdini's shader system is like maya, in which, the shaders are fully customisable.

we ended the class at 10pm and was back at about 10.10ish.
