Day 17 - Review!

Today was the same as usual. We went to the office, and had a review with franklin, for the work i've got done so far. yeah, still no screenshots. Will come later while at the office tommorow.

We had a lesson on SOPs & Cameras by debra today. We also did some attribute transfers. Was quite cool. Attribute transfer allows you to let one attribute or object affect another object by transferring attributes to each other. for example transfering the colour of an object to the floor as it passes over the floor.

i asked debra about my shot. i'll have to drastically cut short my introductory shot of the city. I have to cut down the clip from 1000frames/24 = 41seconds to less than 3-4 seconds. Will need to rethink how i want to tell the story in such a short time frame.

In the mean time i'm also working on the model for the stack. I'll probably do mixtures of the techniques ben told me. I've scanned in my storyboard to use as my texture. I tred scanning in money, but there are some problems. and also, money is rectangle, while the paper that i'am using to bend are square. so that's a possible problem.

On the other end of the spectrum, i've started looking at other methods to do the folding. so tommorow at the office, i'll try modelling each fold manually. and then animating it based on that fold.

but that is a story for tommorow. Also in other news, here's the current plan, we are going to universal studios this weekend. we might be going back to the gun range next week to shoot bigger guns :D. this friday, were going to method studios and subsequently the following week on friday, Asylum Studios. So look out for those pictures and stories soon. I'll upload photos in the office tommorow.
