today we went to the farmers market in the afternoon. we found a gasp.... singaporean stall that even featured a beng stall holder gasp! got myself sea food mee goreng and walked around the area. alot of upscale shops and saw a tram which sadly was not working while we were there. went to kmart for a while to browse by then it was almost 5pm so after that we met up with the rest of the group and went to GLOW. as stated in the previous post below. Glow is a santa monica sponsored art festival. This art festival is a massive thing that span the entire venice beach and they closed ocean boulevard to accommodate the event. GLOW features artist's sculptures, music, dance, movies and other works that artists can show to the public.
They stopped the 7 bus service and rerouted it to who knows where... so we walked from the beach back to the apartment which was probably about 4 miles. interestingly enough it's the first time we walked from the beach to the apartment back. Walking along the sand is tiring work. haha.
got myself a glow t-shirt as a souvineer, and went back at about 10+ reached home at about 12am. slept close to 2am at night. yeah. tired. very, tired. legs still aches.
anyways, here's me signing off.
Oh forgot to mention, we went to a 4 story camera store building, which ng wanted to buy new lens and a flash light for his dslr. spending 600$USD at one shot, but when he tried to pay....dun dunn dunnnnnn his credit cards got rejected, so he just got the flash and left. it was quite funny. and shocking, didn't expect him to pick up but items hahaha.
