Franklin emailed me a possible folding solution he did, took me a while to breakdown but finally understood with help from ng. I feel stupid for not considering deleting the points to straighten out the fold. I guess this is what ben keeps on telling me, there is more than 1 way to do anything in houdini. Depends on what exactly you can do and how you do it.
I continued to work on the pathway and experiment with a few more camera angles. I finally managed to cut down to only 15seconds and asked aliza if it was okay if i extend to 20seconds. She generally said no. haha. she went to give some advice but in short it's a no.
So oh well. 15sec is plenty much and since i'm not doing fluids simulations or sorts, it would be less lengthy for the render.
Since it was a friday, the office was quite empty except for the interns and us. most of the other staff don't work on fridays. So it was off day for them. We knocked off at 5 and went down to the farmers market at night. Mainly to check out the bigger ross. It was quite interesting, actually not really, it's the same size as the other ross except it's on one floor. Alot more people in it shopping as well.
After that we went to kmart! yes kmart! remember the days when singapore still had one of those. We went in and had dinner. by then it was already 10pm, so we headed back.
