I decided to put in some basic textures and fix another camera angle after what ziggy told me on friday. So i found another 4 more camera angles. To tell you honestly finding camera angles is so frustrating. You thought you found a good one, then ask someone else if it's good they tell you no, then you're back to square one again. We had a daily with johnnathan. I dunno, johnnathan is giving me abit of a cold shoulder each time i ask him a question (so much for asking alot of questions). Maybe i asked too much i dunno. But now i try to ask less of the interns, ask my peers and research online... but meh, sometimes oyu know, you want to solve something that you thought would be able to be done quite quickly but just isn't.
In other news, I finally put in the flocking johnnathan showed me on last friday. How to pin point the center point of the building. However, because the city i made was not done procedurally, there was alot of problems getting the point. I didn't know how to do it procedurally, no one showed me, and after everyone giving me such reactions, i shrugged and did it non procedurally. Anyways, moving on, he showed me the connectivity and divide sop that helped to get the point in the middle of the top face. It was a long winded unneeded process if done procedurally.
i throw in some of the flocking using the sample he showed me, and with his help once again, (after some problems) i put in an incompletely working flocking. Hopefully all of these is to franklin's satisfaction..... shrug. Oh well, we'll find out on wednessday. Time to knock off... more posts soon.
