I asked in the morning if ms eda can confirm with me thati won't be marked as the same standard as the rest, as i unlike them do not come from TD. She says only she and aliza knows. And the would moderate, so alrighty then.
My presentation covered all the bases and everything franklin wanted to see. But remember the render i told you i was doing yesterday? It came out crap. yeah....i know. Apparently environmental light is rubbish. It creates the noise and doesn't light up the scene proper. Oh well. But it did give me some nice ideas. For example when i rendered i forgot to turn off the curves, so it rendered the curves and interestingly enough, it creates ribbons, as you can see below(when i manage to upload it). The whole shot is about 360 frames and 24 frames per second, so that equals to 15 Seconds.
Franklin, said at the end of the presentation that it was good progress and he saw everything he wanted to see. No praise or love from him...so i dunno.... :<....
anyways, i asked ben to give me a hand with the lighting, originally i used a sky cone. Why you ask? Cause i tried with a dome and it gave a wierd texturing issue, so used a cone and it kinda fixed it. He said it was possibly the wierdest answer i could have given him. lol.
So he guided me to create the half sphere and showed me how to cheat the sun. Since the texture i have already has the sun. I asked about god rays but he recommended i do that like the last week as it would eat into my render time.
Also since now i have the direction where my sun goes, i can now do the curve proper, as the fleet is supposed to fly into the sunset.
